Last Year's Players
Congratulations to The Intellectual Plat(e) Spinning Fridges! At this year's Regional Tournament the KCVI competitive team came away with the silver medals, making Tode, Laura and Matt very proud of them indeed. The night was a blast and saw a coyote almost eat Tom, many tongue in cheek references to lining things (including clavicles) with silver, Kira almost fall into a piano, a heart wrenching break-up, and a yoghurt eating yoga guru slide and roll about the stage in serene ecstasy. An unidentified audience member had this to say: "I was speechless, then I realised I'd been sitting backwards in my seat the whole time." After he turned around, he was even more amazed at seeing such IMPROV LOVE AND MADNESS!
Well done to all the teams who competed, to Holy Cross for making it to Nationals, and to the Theme Bird for being so willing to give up her precious eggs for the cause.
A final congratulation goes out to our graduating players Phoebe "Hippo" Jones #78, Kira "The Words" Meyers-Guiden #84 and Sara "Kissman 2.0" Connelly #92! These guys left it all on stage, regret nothing, and should be pleased as punch with themselves. You leave an indelible stain on KCVImprov - WE LOVE YOU!
